ZORI KOSTADINOVA, OWNER & MANAGER OF SCHMIDT DERBY

As the founder, owner and manager of Schmidt Derby, Zori brings a genuine passion for thoughtful interior design and a strong connection to the local community. As a Derby resident herself, she understands the character of the area and is proud to have established the showroom in the heart of Derby’s historic Cathedral Quarter on Queen Street, bringing contemporary fitted furniture and interior design to a location with a longstanding heritage of quality and craftsmanship.

For Zori, Schmidt Derby is much more than a kitchen and interiors showroom. As a family-run business, it has been built around the values of Integrity, Loyalty and Care, which shape the way Zori and her team approach every client and every project. Her focus is on creating a welcoming, personal experience where homeowners feel listened to, supported and confident in the choices they make for their homes.

Whether helping to transform a kitchen or introducing beautifully coordinated furniture throughout the wider home, Zori believes great design should always begin with the individual. By understanding how each client lives, what they love and what they want to achieve, the Schmidt Derby team can create interiors that bring together style, personality and everyday practicality.

“Bring us your ideas and we’ll craft interiors that work beautifully for the way you live.”
